11 Jordanian truck drivers evacuated from Sudan to Saudi Arabia

Ammon News - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs secured the departure of 11 Jordanian drivers and their trucks from the Sudanese border port of Suakin to the port of Jeddah.

The ministry's spokesman, Sinan Majali , said that the departure comes within the framework of the ministry's follow-up to the situation of Jordanians in Sudan.

Majali confirmed that the Jordanian trucks left for Jeddah via "Amman" ship, in coordination with the Ministry of Transport.

The ministry is continuing its efforts to secure 14 Jordanian drivers and their trucks who are still in Sudan after they complete clearance procedures related to contractual and commercial matters with the Sudanese party, Majali added.

He indicated that the process of evacuating them will take place soon, to the port of Jeddah, in the same way.
