Ammon News - Senate President Faisal Fayez and Romanian Ambassador George Cristian on Tuesday discussed Jordanian-Romanian relations and the need to strengthen them in various fields.

During the meeting, Fayez underscored Jordan's position regarding the Palestinian cause. The key to peace in the region is a just solution to the Palestinian cause, which can only be achieved through international legitimacy resolutions and the two-state solution, added Fayez.

Cristian lauded Jordan's role under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II in bringing about peace and restoring security and stability to the region, pointing to many aspects of cooperation between Romania and Jordan.

He stressed his country's endeavor to develop its ties with Jordan in various fields to serve the common interests of the two countries and peoples.
