Ammon News - A Royal decree was issued approving the Cabinet's decision, which okayed a cooperation protocol in the field of attracting direct investment between Jordan's Ministry of Investment and Iraq's National Investment Commission (NIC), recently signed in Baghdad.
According to the version published in the Official Gazette, the protocol aims to enhance joint cooperation in the field of stimulating direct investment in the available investment sectors and activities, in accordance with the two countries' laws and regulations in force, which would contribute to achieving mutual benefit.
Under the protocol, the two sides will cooperate in exchanging information, expertise and legislation related to investment promotion, and relevant publications and studies available in this field.
The two sides will also exchange expertise in the field of establishing development zones and investment promotion, as well as comprehensive investor services, incentives and facilities.
This goal will be realized by making use of the two sides' expertise in multiple activities, primarily training programs, seminars and other activities in related fields, and dispatching joint technical teams to participate in training programmes and workshops, held by each party, the protocol stated.
