Ammon News - The UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, Sunday condemned the killing of civilians and UN officials in Sudan clashes who had worked for the World Food Programme (WFP) in North Darfur.

The spokesman for the UN Secretary-General, Stephane Dujarric, noted the need to hold those responsible for the killings accountable "without delay," adding that the Secretary-General is"deeply concerned" about the clashes, according to the UN official website.

Dujarric stated that buildings for humanitarian work, including UN buildings," were bombed and looted in several locations in Darfur.
