Ammon News - A modest rise in temperatures is expected on Sunday, making it mild in the plains and mountain ranges, and warm in the remainder of the country. Clouds will form at medium and high altitudes, and the winds will be southeasterly moderate, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

On Monday, another increase in temperature is anticipated, with readings that will be (6-7) degrees Celsius higher than the seasonal average. The weather will be warm overall, and various heights of clouds will be visible. The afternoon hours are prime for light rain showers, and the southeasterly winds will be generally moderate but occasionally brisk.

Tuesday will also see an increase in mercury levels across all regions, with the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba having even warmer conditions.

In the afternoon, the kingdom will experience a weak state of unstable weather conditions as clouds multiply at various altitudes, bringing showers of rain, particularly in the south and east of the Kingdom, occasionally accompanied by thunder. Southeasterly winds will be moderate to brisk at times, stirring dust in the desert regions.

Today, temperatures in Amman would hit 27 degrees Celsius, dropping to 11C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 33C, sliding to 21C during night hours.
