Ammon News - Two tourist ships will arrive at the port of Aqaba, carrying 2,463 tourists and 1,451 crew members, according to the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA).
According to the authority, the first ship arrives at 6 am from the port of Salalah, Oman, carrying 461 crew members and 845 tourists, the majority of them are Americans.
The second cruise ship, which is also coming from Salalah, Oman, will arrive in the port of Aqaba at 6:30 am with 1,618 tourists, the majority of whom are British, and 990 crew members, the authority stated.
ASEZA added that the visitors arriving on cruise ships contribute to supporting Jordan's economic return.
It indicated that tourists will visit Aqaba, Petra and Wadi Rum.
