Ammon News - The Arab League Sunday urged the international community to take action against the Israeli authorities' "crimes" by putting pressure on the Israeli government to comply with the resolutions of international legitimacy.
On the 75th anniversary of the Deir Yassin massacre on April 9, the pan-Arab organisation inveighed against racist and terrorist practices levelled at Palestinians.
The Assistant Secretary-General for Palestine and the Occupied Arab Territories of the Arab League, Saeed Abu Ali, stated that the Deir Yassin massacre claimed the lives of hundreds of unarmed women, children and older Palestinians when extremist Jewish Zionists besieged the village of Deir Yassin and bombarded it, then stormed it and opened fire indiscriminately.
The massacre killed at least 250 unarmed Palestinian and 300 others, sending a shock wave across Palestinian villages and towns and displacing over 850,000 Palestinian Arabs, half of the overall population of back then Mandatory Palestine.
