Jordan loses more than half of its drinking water illegally

Ammon News - Ministry of Water and Irrigation confirmed that Jordan loses more than half of its drinking water due to illegal uses.

The ministry indicated, in a Facebook post, Thursday, that one of the most important reasons is also acts of sabotage and water leakage, with what is known as water loss.

It is noteworthy that the volume of precipitation since the beginning of the season rose to 97.1% from the general annual rate of 8.1 billion m3 annually, constituting 122.2% of the total rainfall last year.
