Ammon News - Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply carried out 4,800 monitoring visits to tourist and industrial establishments during 2022.

In a statement on Sunday, director of the ministry's monitoring and inspection unit, Mohammad Khalidi, said concerned authorities paid visits to economic businesses to verify compliance with food safety, occupational health, and environmental requirements.

The ministry's Awareness, Guidance and Monitoring Committee of Food Factories carried out about 800 visits to foodstuff factories during 2022 in the governorates of Amman, Zarqa and Madaba, Khalidi pointed out.

Meanwhile, he noted the committee carried out about 4,000 visits to tourist facilities last year.
