Ammon News - A high-level Palestinian delegation will participate in the five-party meeting hosted by Jordan in Aqaba, which includes Jordan, Egypt, the United States, Palestine and Israel.

In an official statement issued by the Palestinian Presidency, the Palestinian Presidency said that the Palestinian delegation participating in the work of this meeting will reaffirm the commitment of the State of Palestine to the resolutions of international legitimacy as a way to end the Israeli occupation and embody the establishment of the sovereign State of Palestine with East Jerusalem as its capital on the 1967 borders.

The Palestinian Presidency added that the Palestinian delegation will stress the need to stop all Israeli unilateral actions and abide by the signed agreements, in preparation for creating a political horizon based on international legitimacy decisions and the Arab peace initiative, leading to the Palestinian people obtaining their right to freedom and independence.
