Ammon News - A new earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 shook the central part of Turkey, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre's (EMSC) data revealed on Saturday.
The quake struck at a depth of 10 kilometers, 13 km away from Goksun. Following this one, another two shakes with a magnitude of 3.3, in the eastern part, and a magnitude of 4, in the central part of the country, were also recorded. The EMSC added that the last one marks the "30th felt earthquake in Central Turkey in the last 71 hours."
Last week, Turkey and Syria suffered from a devastating tremor that left over 46,000 people dead.
