Ammon News - Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is expected to visit Israel next week with a delegation of Senate Democrats for meetings with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other senior officials, Israeli Foreign Ministry officials told Axios.

Israeli officials said that Schumer and his accompanying delegation are expected to visit Israel from February 23 to 25.

The delegation will also meet with Israeli President Isaac Herzog, Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid and US Ambassador to Israel Tom Nedis.

It was not clear whether the delegation would visit the occupied West Bank to meet Palestinian officials.
