Ammon News - Minister of Justice Ahmad Ziyadat on Tuesday welcomed a German delegation led by State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Justice Angelika Schlunck for a discussion of judicial cooperation.

During their meeting, Ziyadat stressed the strong relations between the two countries' justice ministries, noting a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed last year to exchange expertise and enhance legal and judicial cooperation.

The two sides tackled cooperation within the framework of a project currently being implemented to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of criminal procedures in Jordan in line with the justice sector's 2022-2026 plan.

The project also emphasizes the importance of employing technology to develop the justice system.
