Professional, specialised media basic guarantee for public opinion, Minister says

Ammon News - Minister of Government Communication Faisal Shboul Tuesday said that specialised professional media that adheres to laws, regulations and codes of ethics is a "basic" guarantee for public opinion.

Shboul addressed a group of trainees within the project of training media programmes graduates in "healthy media." The project includes 41 trainees.

He added that the training project took shape following issues that became apparent during the media coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic, which highlighted the need for a specialised press that provides information to public opinion and educates people about the "negative" impact of social media platforms.
