Ammon News - Former Prime Minister Ali Abu Al Ragheb considered that the USA did not enter a country without leaving it destroyed behind it.
In a lecture hosted by the Jordanian Society for Science and Culture on Saturday, that this happened since World War II, then in Afghanistan, then Iraq, Syria, and then Ukraine, he said.
Abu Ragheb talked about the overall political situation in the region, pointing out that the repercussions of the Russian-Ukrainian war, whether security or economic, on the whole world affected non-productive or industrial countries in the first place.
"What is striking is the role of Iran and Turkey, which have developed in terms of military manufacturing and weapons production, until they have become two countries with a strong presence in the region", Abu Ragheb pointed out.
He explained that there is a US-Turkish dispute regarding the issue of the Kurds, and this is an issue on which Washington is constantly pressing, while America has supported Ukraine in its war with nearly 70 billion dollars so far, most of it in the field of weapons.
Abu Ragheb stressed that Russia will not allow it to lose this war, and there is a decline in the levels of support of members of the Republican Party in America for the Ukrainian war, as well as skepticism in Congress that Ukraine can win the war and stand up to the Russians.
He talked about the tendency of major countries such as China, Russia and India to adopt a new financial system as an alternative to the traditional system that is in effect through capitalism or socialism.
