Ammon News - The executive plan for the Economic Modernization Vision (EMV) has outlined 30 initiatives for future services, to upgrade Jordan’s ranking in global reports.
The initiatives will be implemented during the years 2023-2025 under 75 priorities, with a total cost of JD232 million, JD52 million of which during the current year.
The executive plan, which was recently approved by the Cabinet, includes improving Jordan's rank in the E-Government Development Index (EGDI), and in the Global Innovation Index (GII), supported by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.
Moreover, it includes providing automated and digitized government services under the Jordan Digital Transformation Strategy, and improving the quality of the digital customer journey within specific criteria.
In addition, the plan will carry through youth, technology, and jobs programs, and will complete the establishment of a test-based system for the adoption of revolutionary technologies.
It also entails enhancing investment in telecommunications services through the implementation of the fifth generation services (5G).
