Ammon News - His Majesty King Abdullah II, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein, visits the Petra Museum, and is briefed on the museum's collections of artefacts discovered in and around Petra.

His Majesty listened to a briefing from the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority, Dr. Suleiman Farajat, about the museum's selected collections of artifacts discovered in and around Petra.

The museum includes interactive screens showing the history of the region, films that contain perceptions of the past, and models built inside the museum in life size.

Farajat said that the museum aims to diversify the tourism product for visitors to the Rose City, preserve the archaeological site, and prolong the stay of tourists, which increases the tourism income of Petra.
