Ammon News - Jordan's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at constant market prices grew by 2.6 percent in the third quarter of 2022, compared to the figure reported in the same period of 2021.
In a quarterly statistical report released Thursday, the Department of Statistics (DoS) said that the increase was driven by the growth seen across the various sectors of the economy.
It indicated that the extractive industries sector expanded by 5.3 percent, followed by the agriculture, hunting, forestry and fishing sector with 4.1 percent, the construction sector with 3.6 percent and the transformative industries sector with 3.5 percent.
