Ammon News - The Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI) and the Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) on Wednesday signed a memorandum of cooperation to launch a national initiative titled "Electronic Internationalization of Jordanian Factories."
The memorandum aims at upscaling Jordanian factories' online promotion and sale by employing young people across the Kingdom, through the CPF's Platform for the National Youth Engagement and Volunteering Program (Nahno), and allowing them to apply their knowledge and skills within the concept of volunteering thus enhancing their chances of entering the labor market as qualified employees or business owners.
The initiative includes launching a laboratory for online promotion and sale through a comprehensive service program that includes guidance, training, and creating top-grade promotional materials and networking. Young people's role will be to help create these materials after receiving proper guidance from professionals in the field, according to a statement by the ACI.
The memorandum also stipulates hiring liaison officers to follow up on the work progress and forming specialized joint teams to work on each program the two sides agree upon.
Director General of the ACI Nael Husami said the agreement will boost joint cooperation, leveraging the CPF's Nahno platform, noting that online marketing has become one of the key promotion methods.
For her part, CPF's Executive Director Tammam Mango underscored the Foundation's commitment to cooperating with stakeholders to drive youth across the Kingdom toward innovation and leadership and technical and professional work under the directives of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.
