Cyber security centre, Britain sign MoU

Ammon News - The National CyberSecurity Centre (NCSC) on Thursday evening signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of cyber security with the government of the UK and Northern Ireland, aiming to enhance cooperation, exchange experiences, and facilitate links between institutions in both countries.

The signing of the memorandum comes as a desire from the two countries to continue developing cooperation and strengthening bilateral friendly relations, in line with the two countries’ common interests in preserving the increasing economic, social and security benefits resulting from the use of a free, open, peaceful and safe cyberspace, according to a statement by the NCSC on Wednesday.

The memorandum was signed on behalf of the Jordanian government by the Head of the NCSC, Eng. Bassam Maharmeh, and on behalf of the UK government, the British Ambassador to Amman, Bridget Brind.
