Ammon News - Hashem Akel, an expert in oil affairs, revealed that diesel consumption in Jordan decreased during the past week at a rate of 30% per day, according to statistics.
Jordan's natural consumption of diesel is 4 million liters per day, of which more than 2 million liters are for the transportation sector, at a rate of 60%, and the other for the industrial and domestic sectors, Akel said to Ammon.
He added that diesel sales to the transportation sector decreased by 600,000 liters per day during the past week, or by 30%.
