Cabinet approves amended vehicle plates bylaw for 2022

Ammon News - A Cabinet session, headed by Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Khasawneh, on Wednesday approved an amended Vehicle Plates Bylaw for 2022.

The bylaw seeks to reinstate regulations related to vehicle plate numbers in the period preceding 1/11/2017.

Thus, plates' holders are granted the right to retain them in exchange for paying the annual allowance set according to the driving license, vehicle registration and licensing fees regulations in force by revoking paragraph (g) of Article (7) of the original law.

In addition, the Council of Ministers approved an amended Licensing Renewal Bylaw for Workers in Health Professions for 2022.

This bylaw seeks to implement the related new instructions aimed at continuously pushing professional development of health professions' workers issued on 9/16/2021.

The bylaw also aims to give health professionals an additional period to settle their situation in accordance with licensing renewal requirements, given the circumstances of Covid-19 pandemic and the consequent disruption of in-person activities in compliance with defense orders.
