Ammon News - The Networked Readiness Index (NRI) report issued by the Portland Institute, accredited to the World Economic Forum, showed a decline of one place in the Kingdom's global ranking.

Jordan ranked 70th - with a rate of 48.31 - out of 131 countries around the world and ranked seventh in the Middle East and North Africa, compared to 69th last year, according to the statistics for the year 2022, which Ammon reviewed.

The index studies various fields, including the technical field, in which Jordan ranked 70th, then 50th in human resources, 73rd in Governance, and 97th in impact.

As for the Governance field, it studies the aspects of trust, organization and inclusiveness, in which the country ranked 73rd, organization ranked 64th, and then inclusiveness ranked 66th.

In terms of impact, Jordan ranked 83rd with regard to the economy, 92nd with regard to quality of life, and 100th with regard to the contribution of the sustainable development goals.

The index was topped by the USA, followed by Singapore and Sweden, Netherlands, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Korea and Norway.

At the level of the Middle East and North Africa countries the UAE ranked 28th internationally, Saudi Arabia ranked 35th, Qatar ranked 42nd, Oman ranked 53rd, Bahrain, Kuwait ranked 63rd, Jordan ranked 70th, and Egypt ranked 73rd.
