Ammon News - The Director of the National Library, Nidal Ayasra, on behalf of the Minister of Culture, Haifaa Al-Najjar, inaugurated on Tuesday, "Artists from Madaba Fine Art" exhibition, in the Art Gallery in the middle of the tourist street in Madaba.
Ayasra said that this year Madaba won the title of Arab Tourism City for the year 2022, and this is a matter of pride and honor. The National Library participated in holding an exhibition of documents on the history of the Jordan.
Ministry of Culture is keen to sponsor art and creativity, especially young people, and the opening of this exhibition came within this context, expressing his admiration for the paintings drawn by a group of creative youth from Madaba under the supervision of the artist Michel Ajeilat, he added.
For his part, the artist Michel Ajeilat, the owner of the exhibition, said that the Art Gallery began in 2007 by establishing a special place for the arts in Madaba and to be a cultural interface for the governorate.
Seven young men from Madaba participated in the exhibition, which contained 45 plastic art paintings, after they learned this art at the hands of the plastic artist Michel Ajeilat.
