Ammon News - The foreign aid to Jordan has reached nearly 2 billion and 500 million dollars since the beginning of 2022, according to Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Zeina Toukan.

The period for finalizing the final forms of grant and loan agreements will be signed next month, noting that the private sector and foreign investments have the largest role in implementing capital projects, Toukan said on Tuesday.

She stressed that the support for refugees affected the level of aid to Jordan.

"We noticed a strong economy in an exceptional circumstance," according to Toukan.

She indicated that empowering the private sector is the title of the next stage, as there is coordination with a number of donors to push modernization paths forward.

She pointed out that Jordan's ranking in a number of positive indicators is reflected in the improvement of the citizen's life.

Toukan announced that there will be a donors' conference next year and that there will be concessional financing.
