Ammon News - Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and a delegation of the British Group of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Monday held a meeting on enhancing Jordan-UK cooperation and partnership.
During the meeting, which took place in Amman, the gathering discussed regional and international issues, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause and efforts to solve crises in the region and combat terrorism.
Safadi briefed the delegates on the efforts led by His Majesty King Abdullah II to resolve regional crises, achieve comprehensive and lasting peace and establish regional security and stability.
Safadi noted the "depth of the strategic" ties between the two kingdoms and Jordan's keenness to develop them.
