Deal signed to connect IXPs of Aqaba, Palestine

Ammon News - The Aqaba Digital Hub (ADH), a project created by Jordanian entrepreneurs, and the Palestinian Ministry of Telecom and Information Technology signed a memorandum of understanding to link the Palestinian government's Internet Exchange Point (IXP) with Aqaba's to give telecommunications companies, Internet service providers, and Palestinian digital networks access to digital content available at ADH's IXP.

The deal, signed on the sidelines of the MENA ICT Forum 2022, will enable Palestinian companies to exchange high-quality data with global content providers and Jordanian, Arab, and international telecommunication companies existing at Aqaba's neutral IXP, AqabaIX, according to a statement issued Sunday by the Ministry of Digital Economy.
