2 Jordanians rank among top contenders in Arab Reading Challenge in Dubai

Ammon News - Two Jordanian citizens have ranked among top contenders in the Arab Reading Challenge (ARC), a part of the global initiatives of UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

In a series of tweets, after the honoring ceremony that was held in Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said "Nour Al-Jabour, the supervisor from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, has won the largest-ever Arab reading initiative that saw the participation of 126,000 reading supervisors from 44 countries around the world. I salute her and I salute more than 2 million students who participated from the Kingdom."

"Within the reading challenge, and among the 92,000 schools that participated in the ARC, Morocco's Al Mokhtar Gazoulit School won the best school that supports reading and consolidates it in our generations. Congratulations to Morocco for this cultural movement, as one million Moroccan students participated in the ARC," Sheikh Mohammad added.

Sheikh Mohammad attended the ARC closing ceremony through a competition, 22 million students from 44 countries participated in, to read 50 books each academic year, announcing that "the winner this year is Sham Al-Bkour from Syria."
