Royal Decree approves reshuffle of PM Khasawneh’s Cabinet

Ammon News - A Royal Decree was issued on Thursday, approving a reshuffle of Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh’s Cabinet.

The text of the royal decree:

We, Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in accordance with Article (35) of the Constitution, and upon the recommendation of the Prime Minister, order the following:

1. His Excellency Mr. Nasser Sultan Hamza Al-Shuraida is appointed as Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of State for Public Sector Modernization.
2. His Excellency Engineer Wajih Tayeb Abdullah Azaiza is appointed as Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs.
3. His Excellency Engineer "Ahmed Maher" Hamdi Tawfiq Abu Al-Samen is appointed as Minister of Public Works and Housing and Minister of Transport.
4. His Excellency Dr. Azmi Mahmoud Mufleh is appointed as the Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
5. To appoint His Excellency Mr. Yousef Mahmoud Ali Al-Shamali, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply and Minister of Labor.
6. His Excellency Mr. Faisal Yousef Awad Al-Shboul is appointed as Minister of Government Communication.
7. Her Excellency Mrs. Wafaa Saeed Yaqoub Bani Mustafa was appointed as Minister of Social Development.
8. Her Excellency Mrs. Kholoud Mohammed Hashem Al-Saqqaf is appointed as Minister of Investment.
9. Her Excellency Dr. Nancy Ahmed Ibrahim Namrouqa is appointed as Minister of State for Legal Affairs.
10. Her Excellency Miss Zina Zaid Rashad Toukan is appointed as Minister of Planning and International Cooperation.

Issued by our palace Raghadan Al-Amer on the 1st of Rabi’ Al-Akhir of the year 1444 AH, corresponding to the twenty-seventh of October 2022 AD.

The ministers took the constitutional oath before His Majesty the King, at Al Husseiniya Palace.

The swearing-in was attended by Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh.

A Royal Decree was issued approving the acceptance of the resignations of the following ministers, as of October 27, 2022.

1. His Excellency Mr. Nasser Sultan Hamza Al Shraideh, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation.
2. His Excellency Dr. Wajih Musa Owais Owais, Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
3. His Excellency Eng. Yahya Musa Bijaeng Kasabi, Minister of Public Works and Housing.
4. His Excellency Eng. Wajeeh Tayeb Abdullah Azayza, Minister of Transport.
5. His Excellency Mr. Ayman Riad Saeed Al Mufleh, Minister of Social Development.
6. His Excellency Dr. "Nawaf Wasfi" Saeed "Mustafa Wahbi" Al-Tal, Minister of State for Government Follow-up and Coordination Affairs.
7. His Excellency Mr. Yousef Mahmoud Ali Al-Shamali, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply.
8. His Excellency Mr. Faisal Yousef Awad Al-Shboul, Minister of State for Information Affairs.
9. Her Excellency Mrs. Wafaa Saeed Yaqoub Bani Mustafa, Minister of State for Legal Affairs.
10. His Excellency Eng. Khairy Yasser Abdel Moneim Amr, Minister of Investment.
11. His Excellency Mr. Nayef Zakaria Nayef Istitieh, Minister of Labor.

When receiving the resigned ministers at Al Husseiniya Palace, His Majesty expressed his appreciation for their efforts during their assumption of their ministerial portfolios.
