US Embassy: Initiatives to Support Agricultural Exchange with Jordan

Ammon News - The US Embassy in Amman confirmed that the United States is working with Jordan on initiatives to support agricultural exchange.

The embassy added, that the Agricultural Attaché Milo is in Jordan recently to visit local pomegranate producers who are exporting to the United States, in addition to exploring ways to expand the import/export of American and Jordanian products.

In a Facebook post, the embassy said: "The United States works with Jordan in many ways, including initiatives to support agricultural exchange. Agricultural Attaché Mello was recently in Jordan visiting local pomegranate producers who export to the U.S., as well as exploring ways to expand the import/export of U.S. and Jordanian products. These initiatives are aimed at helping Jordanian farmers and agriculture industry while supporting the Jordanian economy, and food security. "
