During the meeting, the relations between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan were reviewed to enhance and develop areas of trade and economic cooperation in a way that enhances economic cooperation opportunities between the two sides, according to the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II and Their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the GCC. The joint technical committees' developments and ways to develop economic goals to serve common interests were also discussed, in addition to discussing the latest developments on the regional and international arenas with regard to economic and financial affairs. It is worth noting that this is the second meeting held between the two parties in the past few weeks.
