Ammon News - Al-Nahda Forum called on the government to discuss the establishment of a nucleus for a national joint stock company to manufacture, operate and manage light electric trains, railways and networks, to meet the needs of Jordanian cities with a flat topography, in addition to linking nearby cities to each other in this service, in an effort to facilitate the movement and movement of citizens.

The forum pointed out on Monday that there are cumulative experiences and knowledge of several national bodies referred to in manufacturing engineering, which can develop their efforts and find national funding that supports the direction of establishing a national company for this purpose, and importing ready-made technology in the manufacture and operation of trains from countries such as Germany, France and Turkey.

The forum stressed the importance of such a company in exporting its industries in the future to African, Asian and other countries, as well as the urgent need for it as we turn to smart and safe cities that protect pedestrians and travelers alike, enhance modern transportation.

The Forum stressed that countries such as Germany would not hesitate to provide expertise, transfer knowledge and technology, assist in such an approach, and even finance it.
