Ammon News - Amman city Shared with several international cities (New York, Singapore, Istanbul, Rome, Lisbon (the 14th position in the technology standard, according to the classification of the Local Government Online Services Index (LOSI)2022 issued by the United Nations, within the periodic digital government report issued by the organization every two years.
This indicator measures 84 performance indicators distributed over 5 criteria:(the institutional framework, content, service delivery, participation and interaction, and the technology criterion that focuses on measuring the technology features of electronic portals in terms of how content is made available to site users.
Related indicators measure accessibility, functional efficiencies, ease of navigation, visual appeal and compliance with technology standards.
Amman came with a high rating for the five criteria combined, with a score of 0.5581, compared to an average rating and a total of 0.3875 in 2020.
This development and progress in classification comes as a result of GAM’s endeavors to improve the system of services provided to citizens via the Internet, and to keep pace with technological developments in the era of digital transformation, by including the GAM’s strategic plan 2022-2026 with the aim of improving and developing electronic services, from which several programs, projects and initiatives are expected to emerge.
