Ammon News - Jordanian Exporters Association (JEA) is organizing the participation of local companies specialized in the food industry in the SIAL Paris exhibition for food industries, which will open on the fifteenth of this month in the capital, Paris.
According to the association's president, Ahmed Khudari, 11 Jordanian companies working in the sweets, chocolate, spices, nuts and beverages sectors will participate in the Jordanian pavilion to display their products in front of visitors, stressing that the exhibition is one of the most important food fairs held in the world.
The Jordanian participation, which is the third in the exhibition, stems from the association's keenness to promote national products and seek to open new markets for local companies to contribute to increasing export, he pointed.
Khudari added, in a statement today, Saturday, that the association is keen to provide a platform for Jordanian exporters to enhance their presence in European markets, stressing that France is an important gateway for Jordanian industrial products to cross into the important African markets of the Kingdom, especially with the presence of African businessmen participating in the exhibition.
He explained that the exhibition constitutes an important commercial platform for exchanging ideas and being informed of the latest developments in the field of food processing, in addition to communicating with those interested in this field in light of the volume of participation from different countries of the world.
The president of the association expressed his hope that the Jordanian participation in the five-day exhibition, through the 150-square-meter pavilion, will contribute to achieving positive results, promoting the local industry and seeking to conclude commercial deals.
Khudari stressed that the association, within its objectives, continues to provide services to industrialists from various sectors and help them find export markets for their products through participation in international exhibitions and holding seminars and workshops to introduce how to benefit from the advantages of trade agreements linking the Kingdom with international economic blocs.
In turn, the Director General of the Exporters Association, Halim Abu Rahma, indicated that the association is constantly seeking to find new non-traditional markets by participating in specialized exhibitions that contribute significantly to the promotion of Jordanian industrial products and the conclusion of commercial deals.
He stressed the importance of providing continuous support to enable Jordanian companies to participate in foreign exhibitions, as it is the most successful way to promote exports, enhance the presence of Jordanian products and maintain the momentum they have gained in export markets due to their high quality and competitiveness.
Abu Rahma said that diversification of export markets is very important for Jordanian industrial exports, indicating that the association always seizes opportunities to be present in international economic forums, which is reflected in the promotion of Jordanian products.
