First half national export at 3.9B JOD

Ammon News - Manufacturers agreed that Jordanian industries own high components to face the challenges and adapting international challenges and circumstances because it has several characteristics and its high competitiveness upfront that allows it to reach export market.
“Factors that helped in this growth, and the worlds tend towards food security that increased requests for Jordanian products such as: Phosphate, potash and fertilizers, and to return life to global supply chains and increasing preparedness for Jordanian factories.” Said to Petra.
Traders also called for the need of the best use of trade agreements that were signed with various economic blocs such as: the free trade agreement with USA, Canada, and EU to use export opportunities, and to develop mechanisms to promote Jordanian products in global markets.
In the first half of the current year, national exports achieved appreciation around 1.2B JOD that valued at 3.9B JOD compared with the same period from last year about 2.7B JOD.
Most products that were exported at the first half of this year were clothing, fertilizer, raw potash, raw phosphate, and chemical products.
“The increasing of national exports in the first half mainly refers on increasing the prices of phosphate globally” president of Jordanian exports’ association Ahmad Al-Khudairi said.
“The increasing of the Jordanian exports of potash, phosphate, fertilizers, and chemical products refers to the increase on global demand on it”. the representative of the leather and sewerage industry sector, Eng. Ehab Qadiri said.
Alongside Al Qadiri, “jotton jordan” executive director Shadi Anabtawi confirmed that national exports achieved high growth pedigree due to increasing of global inflation.
With his role, member of the board of directors of Amman Tamim Qasrawi said that part of this growth came from the increase of global prices for raw materials, and increasing demand on it which happened generally in phosphate and potash.
