The Department of Statistics said Sunday in its monthly report that the increase was driven by a rise in the production quantities index of transformative industries by 3.55 percent, extractive industries by 9.10 percent, and electricity by 9.82 percent. On a monthly level, the report showed that the index inched up by 0.79 percent in June 2022, amounting to 94.22 points compared to 93.47 recorded in the same month of last year.
