Ammon News - Activists and initiatives in Ajloun Saturday marked International Youth Day, urging the authorities to leverage the experience and energy of the youth as the "main means for development."

They said that International Youth Day, dubbed "Solidarity Between Generations," is an opportunity to celebrate the voices of the youth, their work and initiatives, and to disseminate their participation, in addition to reminding the world of the role of youth and the commitments of countries towards them, Petra reported.

The coordinator of the We are all Jordan youth body in Ajloun, Adnan Freihat, said that the younger generation is an "important" part of the formation and fabric of every society.

Suleiman Qudah, director of the Ajloun in the Eyes of its Youth Foundation, noted the importance of youth development and preparation in all aspects, educationally and culturally, through improving education.
