ACC, HCCI sign MoU to enhance Jordanian-Palestinian trade exchange

Ammon News - Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC) on Saturday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Hebron Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) to strengthen Jordanian-Palestinian economic relations.

The MoU, which was signed by ACC Chairman Khalil Haj Tawfiq, and HCCI President, Abdo Hamza Idris, aims to spur, develop and facilitate joint cooperation in the trade, economic and investment fields between the two countries.

The MoU, according to an ACC statement, also seeks to establish "effective" means of contact among the two chambers' members, in a bid to promote trade exchange and stimulate establishment of joint investment projects.

Under the MoU, the two chambers' members exchange trade data on investment laws and regulations and hold talks with both countries' business owners to introduce and promote industry, as well as partnership, investment and economic opportunities.

As part of this effort, the two sides encourage the two chambers's members and businesspeople to take part in specialized world exhibitions held in the two countries.

The two chambers also exchange expertise on their labor-related procedures in force by training their employees and meeting periodically and alternately in the two countries to follow up their implementation and develop programs in this regard, the statement said.
