Ammon News - The Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) and the Jordan River Foundation (JRF) on Wednesday inked a cooperation agreement to train job seekers in the port city according to the needs and requirements of the labor market.
The agreement was signed by Ramzi Kabariti, the ASEZA's Commissioner for Youth and Entrepreneurship, and Inaam Braishi, the JRF's Director-General.
According to a statement by the authority, the agreement, which specifically targets the tourism, industrial and health sectors, aims at employment and training within a work environment, in addition to technical training according to the requirements of the labor market to provide suitable opportunities for job seekers.
For her part, Braishi stressed the importance of the agreement in supporting and promoting the Foundation's programs and projects, which include rehabilitation, training and empowerment programs, for job seekers in Aqaba.
