JD Capital Sponsors Leadership Training Program organized by KAFD

Ammon News - AMMAN – Jordan Dubai Capital (JD Capital) announced its sponsorship of the King Abdullah II Fund For Development’s Executive Education Program held in cooperation with the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University entitled “Leading for the Future: The Middle East in a Changing World” and held at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Center at the Dead Sea between the 17th and 21st of January 2010.

JD Capital’s sponsorship of the program stems for its belief in the importance of enhancing human resources and encouraging innovation in a manner that prepares for future leadership according to strong foundations that ensure future success. The Program presents selected participants representing the private and public sectors in Jordan and the region with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the most critical national, regional and international challenges they face through an advanced training program.

Commenting on the sponsorship of the Program, Acting CEO of JD Capital, Mr. Ismail Tahboub said: “This steps is in line with our commitment at Jordan Dubai Capital to a constructive partnership between the public and private sectors and we appreciate the unique opportunity that this program offers to participants from Jordan and the region to exchange ideas and expertise on how to elevate our operations.

We are proud to be sponsoring the King Abdullah II Fund for Development, which has continuously advocated true partnerships between the public and private sectors which is in line with our strategy and outlook towards achieving sustainable development and supporting economic development in Jordan.”

It is worth noting that the King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD) was established by a Royal Decree in 2001 as a non-governmental organization, which strives to achieve social and economic developmental goals in Jordan. KAFD has been engaged in a number of regional and international activities with the aim of creating stronger networks and contributing to positioning Jordan as a training hub for leadership in the region.
