Ammon News - The 20th Amman International Summer Shopping Festival will start next Thursday at the Jordan Exhibition and Convention Center in Mecca Mall, bringing together vendors from Jordan, Palestine, Iran, and Pakistan.
The ten-day festival will be opened under aegis of Prime Minister Bishr Khasawneh and will feature food items, furniture, clothing, accessories, plastic and chemical products, "detergents", antiques, and gifts.
Raed Abu Saada, general manager of the event's organizers, the International Promoters Co (IPCo), indicated that entry to the festival would be free and that visitors would be able to purchase directly from the exhibitors.
He said that the festival is one of the most important shopping and entertainment shows in the Kingdom, allowing Jordanians and non-Jordanians to see firsthand how local industries are thriving and how competitive they are.
He also emphasized that the festival, which runs from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., is a chance for businesspeople to network and establish commercial partnerships.
