Ammon News - The Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD) on Thursday launched a project to institutionalize social protection for people with disabilities at the Karak-based Princess Basma Development Center.
The European Union-funded project is implemented by the Expertise France organization in partnership with local institutions and organizations involved with persons with disabilities.

He added that a handbook for social care providers was prepared and reviewed by multiple associations in Karak and experts in the field to identify and evaluate essential services provided for disabled persons and to provide services that meet international standards of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in various domains.
