Ammon News - Jordan's real estate trade volume inched up by 17 percent in the first half of 2022, reaching JD2.636 billion, compared to the figure reported in the same period of 2021, according to a monthly report issued by the Department of Lands and Survey (DLS) on Thursday.
The report revealed that the state's revenues during the January-June period of this year stood at JD119.1 million, up by 29 percent from the figure reported in the last year.
On a monthly level, the trade volume in the Jordanian real estate market went down in June of 2022 by 7 percent, amounting to JD559 million compared to the same month of 2021. Meanwhile, revenue in June of 2022 recorded a 6 percent increase, reaching JD26 million compared to the same month of 2021.
