Jordan participates in World Urban Forum in Poland

Ammon News - Minister of Public Works and Housing, and Chairman of the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDC), Yahya Kisbi, and HUDC Director General, Jumana Atiyat, on Sunday participated in World Urban Forum (WUF), which will be held in the Polish city of Katowice between June 26-30.

Co-organized by United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) and the Municipal Office of Katowice, the forum, entitled "Transforming Cities for a Better Urban Future" will be attended by subject matter experts in urban development, as well as representatives from many international organizations, a Ministry of Public Works and Housing statement said.

On Monday, Kisbi is scheduled to deliver a speech at the Arab Ministerial Caucus under the auspices of UN-Habitat regarding Jordan's hosting of the Fourth Arab Forum on Housing and Urban Development.

On June 28, Kisbi will participate in the ministerial round table of world ministers in the field of urban development and will deliver Jordan's speech.
