Ammon News - Royal Jordanian (RJ) airlines has apologized in advance for potential delays on some of its flights departing from European and North American airports, citing extraordinary passenger traffic.
In a press release issued on Sunday, the national airline asked passengers to accept its apologies for delays that may occur on some of its flights departing from Europe and North America due to the heavy congestion that international airports are currently experiencing.
According to the statement, airports and ground handling service providers in these destinations are experiencing a staff shortage in tandem with increased demand for air travel two years after the Coronavirus pandemic, resulting in flight and sometimes baggage delays.
The company added that it is in the process of operating additional flights to meet the growing demand it anticipates during the summer break and Hajj season.
