Ammon News - A Jordanian delegation that is currently in Greece has been briefed on the Hellenic Food Safety Authority's experience in tracking and licensing food establishments.
Nizar Mhaidat, the Director-General of the Jordan Food and Drug Administration, has visited the Greek Ministry of Planning on Thursday, where he met with officials to discuss ways to utilize Greece's advanced experience in food traceability, a statement by the Administration said on Thursday.
The two parties agreed to increase their cooperation in the areas of training, capacity building, and the exchange of laboratory tests.
Under the supervision of the International Finance Corporation / World Bank Group, this visit is part of the European Union's project to develop Jordan's national quality infrastructure.
