New air route between Milan, Amman launched

Ammon News - The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) and in cooperation with the Royal Jordanian (RJ) Airlines (the national carrier), on Tuesday organized a launching ceremony for the new air route between Milan and Amman via RJ, with 3 weekly flights, starting at the end of September.
Tourism Minister and JTB Chairman, Nayef Fayez, stressed the importance of the event, as it will enhance the Kingdom tourism sector.
JTB Director General, Abdulrazzaq Arabiyat, said that the JTB carries out many joint promotional campaigns, hosts influencers on social media and participates in international exhibitions, such as BIT Milan and TTG in Rimini, which positively reflect on the number of tourists coming from Italy to Jordan.
A JTB statement said that more than 40 tourism agency from Italy and 24 media representatives from Italian newspapers and TV channels attended the event.
According to the statement, the JTB was represented in the Jordanian delegation participating in the event by Ahmed Al-Hmoud, Director of the JTB Marketing Department, and Karim Makhlouf, RJ Vice Chairman, in the presence of representatives from the Italian Embassy.
During the event, Al-Hmoud highlighted the importance of the Italian market for Jordan, and emphasized the continuous support provided by the JTB, whether through joint marketing campaigns or incentive projects, in addition to the support provided to the RJ by the JTB.
