Ammon News - The Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC) on Sunday launched a program to qualify trainers to deal with Covid-19 cases.

The program, initiated in collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development's (USAID) Local Health System Sustainability Project, will be conducted in a number of Jordanian Royal Medical Services hospitals.

HCAC's CEO Salma Jaouni said the program aims at enabling participants to train cadres on how to address and manage the pandemic.

According to Jaouni, partnerships with USAID and the Jordanian Royal Medical Services have improved the quality of health services during the pandemic by preparing hospitals, expanding protective measures, increasing Covid test measures, and carrying out educational campaigns.

Participants can be trained through HCAC's online training portal, EJAWDA, she added.
