Ammon News - A total of 190 million cubic metres of treated water are used for agricultural purposes, passing through 33 water treatment stations, Secretary General of the Water Authority Bashar Bataineh said on Thursday.
During a workshop organised by the Water Ministry and Water Authority in cooperation with the Dutch embassy titled “Policy dialogues on water and food”, Bataineh said that almost the same amount of water is secured for drinking purposes through 350 agreements with farmers and agricultural associations, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
