Industrial Production Index up 5.3pct in Q1 of 2022

Ammon News - The general Industrial Production Index (IPI) picked up by 5.31 percent in the first quarter of 2022, to 89.99 points against 85.45 points during the same period of 2021, new figures showed.

In a monthly report issued Wednesday, the Department of Statistics (DoS) said the general IPI for March 2022 went up by 10.39 percent, climbing up to 95.68 points compared to 86.68 points in the same month of 2021.

On a monthly level, it indicated that the Index increased by 12.48 percent in March 2022, reaching 95.68 against 85.07 registered in February of the same year.
